Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has given permission to take provisional admission in the next class without passing the examinations. On Saturday, IGNOU issued a press release in this regard, stating that admission can be taken in the July 2020 session without passing the examinations. The decision has been taken in view of such corona virus epidemic. Ingu said that due to Corona epidemic, various educational institutions in the country have been affected, due to which their results have not been released yet.
IGNOU has stated that the examination process of various institutions has been affected due to the corona virus (COVID-19) epidemic. Therefore, there is a delay in the release of results. But amid waiting for the result to be released, students who want to enroll for higher education can take admission without having passed the examination.
For admission to the bachelor’s degree, the candidate must pass the second year / 5th semester. For this, candidates have to submit copies of marksheet.
Applicants who wish to apply in the first year of graduation, have to pass 10 + 2 or equivalent examination. But if the results of such candidates have not yet come, then they can take admission.
Candidates who will be given provisional admission will have to submit a certificate of passing the relevant examinations by 31 December. Candidates who fail to do so will be treated as canceled
