Along with the modernization of the historic NIMS hospital, the super specialty departments will also be strengthened. NIMS will provide around 42 super specialty medical services like heart, kidney, brain, cancer, and orthopedics. Presently more than 30 super specialty medical services are being provided. They will be increased to 42. Accordingly, doctors, nurses, and staff will also be allocated. Seats in medical colleges and nursing colleges will also increase.

When the TRS government came to power in Telangana, it gave special attention to medicine. To provide super specialty medical services to the poor people in the state, plans have been prepared to make ten thousand beds available.
