Apart from the Hathras gangrape scandal, a conspiracy to spread ethnic riot is being investigated in this case. This claim was made by the Uttar Pradesh government, after which the UP police arrested four people. In this case, the matter of foreign funding was also revealed, after which the entry of Enforcement Directorate was also done. Now the matter is to be heard in the local court of Mathura on Tuesday.
Let us tell you that on October 5, four people arrested by UP Police on the way to Mathura include Atiq-ur Rehman of Muzaffarnagar, Masood Ahmed of Bahraich, Alam of Rampur and Siddiqui Kappan of Malappuram in Kerala. All have been booked under UAPA. The police claimed that some material was found with them, which was to provoke the protests in Hathras.
