The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has registered a case in the murder case of a Dalit girl after the gang rape in Hathras. Also, CBI has started its investigation in this case. The CBI has registered a case on the request of the Uttar Pradesh government. The CBI has formed a team in this regard. The investigation is on. Meanwhile, the CBI team has reached the Chandpa police station in Hathras to start the investigation.

According to the statement released, the CBI started its investigation by registering a case against an accused in the Hathras case today. Earlier, the victim’s brother had filed a case in Chandpa police station of Hathras. The complainant had alleged that on 14 September 2020, the accused tried to strangle her sister to Bajre’s field.

Investigation led by Seema Pahuja

CBI will investigate the case of Hathras in DSP Seema Pahuja posted in Ghaziabad CBI Unit. Seema Pahuja is a fast-paced female officer who has also investigated Himachal Pradesh’s doll case. He has received many honors from the Police Medal to the best investigation.

Please tell that the CBI has taken the Hathras case in its hands. The incident has been around 27 days. First the Hathras Police, then the SIT and now the CBI have started investigation in this case.

SIT was still investigating this case. When the SIT started an investigation to know the truth of 14 September, there were 40 people from the village on its target. These 40 people of the village have been questioned. These 40 people are those who were working in the surrounding fields on 14 September. These include the accused and the victim’s house.

Victim family will go to Lucknow

Meanwhile, the family of Hathras victim is going to Lucknow. The UP police will take the victim’s family members to Lucknow under tight security. Tomorrow is the hearing of the Hathras case in Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court on October 12. For this, five family members and some relatives will leave for Lucknow. The UP police will take them under its security cover to Lucknow. DIG Lucknow has also reviewed the preparations by visiting the village of Shalabh Mathur victim.

On October 1, the Allahabad High Court summoned the Principal Secretary Home Avnish Awasthi, DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi, ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar, besides Hathras DM Praveen Kumar and SP Vikrant Veer, taking automatic cognizance of the incident.
