The Lucknow Bench of the High Court will hear the body of the victim of the Hathras incident in an allegedly arbitrary manner, without the consent of the family and for the overnight funeral. For this, the victim’s family left for Lucknow from Hathras in the early morning on Monday amid heavy police security. SDM Anjali Gangwar CO Shailendra Bajpai has also left for Lucknow with the victim’s family. District DM Praveen Targeter and SP are also present together.
Five members of the victim’s family along with a convoy of six trains will reach the Lucknow High Court today where the victim’s family will be presented at 2 pm. The said case has been listed before the bench of Justice Pankaj Mittal and Justice Rajan Roy under the title ‘Right to funeral in a dignified manner’. The officials associated with this case are also to appear in the High Court today.
It is noteworthy that on October 1, taking suo motu cognizance of the case, Additional Chief Secretary Home, Director General of Police, Additional Director General of Law and Order, District Magistrate Hathras and Superintendent of Police Hathras were summoned. The court had also asked the deceased victim’s mother-father, brother and sister to be present so that the facts stated by them in relation to the last rites can also be known. At the same time, the court ordered the officials to appear with documents related to the case etc. He was also asked to explain the progress of deliberations.

This family needs justice. The guilty should be punished severely. This family is straightforward. This family does not know which organization will give them justice, but the family wants justice. He wants the Supreme Court to be investigated by a sitting judge. He said that the administration should keep security arrangements for a long time when the family comes to court and from other functions.
CBI has taken the investigation of the Hathras case in its hands The CBI has taken over the investigation of the alleged gang rape and death case of a Dalit girl in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. Officials said that a notification has been issued to the investigating agency and investigation teams along with forensic experts will be sent to the crime scene soon after the FIR is lodged. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recommended a CBI inquiry into the case. Authorities gave information about this late Saturday evening.
