The next hearing in the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Gyanvapi Mosque case will be held on October 15. In the hearing on Tuesday, the two sides debated the future of the revision filed by the Sunni Central Waqf Board in the district judge’s court in the matter of jurisdiction. Due to the non-completion of the debate, ADJ I has fixed October 15 as the date for hearing the remaining debate.
The hearing of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Gyanvapi Mosque case will go on in the Civil Court of Varanasi or the Waqf Tribunal in Lucknow can settle this issue soon. In this case, the revision was challenged on Tuesday by the Central Sunni Waqf Board challenging the decision of the Civil Judge Senior Division Fast Track Court. The next debate in this matter is on 15 October.
Only then it will be able to finalize whether the revision of Waqf Board will be acceptable in the court of the district judge. On Tuesday, Sunni Central Waqf Board Lucknow lawyer Tauheed Khan said that this case falls under the category of case decide and revision is eligible to be admitted.
Vadmitra Vijay Shankar Rastogi on behalf of Kashi Vishwanath temple said that this revision has been filed against the interlocutory order. Apart from this, the court has demanded original letter from the lower court attached to the jurisdiction to examine the points of both the parties and has also summoned the revision filed by Anjuman Arrangements Masajid.
Let me tell you that earlier on October 6, the District Judge of Varanasi approved the revision of Sunni Central Waqf Board with a compensation of Rs 3 thousand. In this episode, there has been a debate on the admission of this revision on Tuesday.
Earlier on September 18, the Central Sunni Waqf Board filed a revision in the Varanasi district judge’s court on 25 February 2020 challenging the order of the senior division fast track court court in which the fast track court had filed that application of the mosque side In which the mosque side wanted the whole matter to be run in Waqf Tribunal Lucknow.
However, the Anjuman Arrangements Masajid Committee has already filed a civil revision in the district judge’s court against this order of the fast track court.
