Telangana Governor Tamilisai’s style is like if the time comes for you, time will come for me too. In recent times, the cold war between the KCR government and the Raj Bhavan continues with open criticism. If the TRS government is holding the assembly meetings without the governor’s speech, many bills sent by the Tamilisai government have to be kept pending regarding the approval of the bills passed in the assembly. When the time comes, they are showing their mark. Governor Tamilisai has written a letter to the TRS government on the issue of forming the Universities Common Recruitment Board in this event. Tamilisai clarified that the matter will be discussed when Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy comes to Raj Bhavan. It is interesting to see how the government will respond to this letter.

Governor Tamilisai has written a letter to Telangana Govt. The letter mentions about setting up of the Universities’ Common Recruitment Board. He advised the Education Minister to come to the Raj Bhavan and discuss the bill. Governor Tamilisai has also written a letter to the UGC on the same issue. UGC’s opinion was sought on recruitment through Common Recruitment Board. He said that he has been saying for three years that vacancies in universities should be filled. But he mentioned that the government is not paying attention to this matter.

Currently, many bills passed by both the Houses of Telangana are pending the Governor for approval. Among them are the Common Recruitment Board Bill for Telangana Universities, Bill to upgrade the Forestry College and Research Institute in Mulugu to Forest University, the Telangana GST Amendment Bill, the Nizamabad Industrial Area (Termination and Regulation of Leases) Amendment Bill, the Telangana Municipal Laws Amendment Bill, the Telangana Public Employment (Regulation of Age). of Superannuation) Amendment Bill, Telangana Motor Vehicles Taxation Amendment Bill, and Telangana Private Universities Amendment Bill.

In a letter written to the Telangana government, the Governor suggested that the Minister of Education should come to the Raj Bhavan to discuss the issue of the Joint Recruitment Board Bill for Telangana Universities. On the other hand, during the Diwali celebrations at the Raj Bhavan, the Governor made key comments on the issue of these bills. He said that the matter of approving the bills passed in the assembly meetings is completely within his jurisdiction.

The TRS leaders are criticizing that many bills passed by the Legislative Assembly have not yet been approved by the Raj Bhavan and this has been kept pending the Governor. Responding to these criticisms, Governor Tamilisai said that he will act within his scope in approving the bills. He clarified that he will look into the pending bills and take a decision soon. He made it clear that he is not against anyone and will take responsible decisions as the governor.
