Corona virus cases have started increasing once again in the country. The number of infected patients has continued to rise for the past several days. Meanwhile, the Health Department has said that the increase in corona cases in Maharashtra and Punjab is a matter of concern. Apart from these two, Corona cases have also increased in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan gave this information after a meeting with these states called on the current situation of Corona.
The Health Ministry said that out of the ten districts with the highest number of corona, nine are from Maharashtra. Their names are Pune, Nagpur, Mumbai, Thane, Nashik, Aurangabad, Nanded, Jalgaon and Akola. At the same time, Karnataka of Bengaluru is also included in this. Niti Aayog (Health) member VK Paul described the situation as ‘worried’ and said the solution was monitoring, as it did last year. He also said that vaccination in these states should be pursued.
Rajesh Bhushan said about the vaccination campaign to anyone over the age of 45 years that about 88 percent of deaths from all the coronas in the country are occurring in people above 45 years of age. This case is fatal. The rate over 45 years is 2.85 percent. This age group is therefore unsafe and has been decided on the basis of scientific input. The age-based approach to vaccination has been recognized by the World Health Organization. Paul said that we have enough vaccines. We have a comfortable relationship with the states. We take stock of the situation every day. ”
