Due to non-completion of KYC, interest money has not been deposited in the account of nearly 40 lakh Provident Fund (PF) shareholders associated with EPFO. If you are also among such people then do not worry, you will not need to go anywhere to complete KYC in PF account. You can get your KYC done at home. You go to the UAN portal and click the option of KYC and click one by one on the section with PAN, Aadhaar, mobile number, bank account in the open window in front. Fill in your information and submit it. Now your PAN and Aadhaar will be added. However, to verify this you will need to ask your employer. You will be able to avail online facility as soon as the employer verifies.

What is UAN
Every Provident Fund account holder is given a Universal Account Number (UN) by EPFO. It is linked with EPF account, details of bank account of the employee are also added to it.

How to correct wrong bank details
If the wrong bank account is linked with your UAN, then there is no need to worry. It can update bank account details in online UAN from home. Eufo has told this method by tweeting today. Explain that the Employees Provident Fund says that if the wrong bank account number or IFSC is linked with UAN, then in future if you want to withdraw the amount of PF, it can be difficult.
First of all go to the portal of EPFO https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ and log in by entering UAN and password here. Now click on the Manage tab. After this, a drop down menu will appear in front of you. Select KYC in this menu. After this, now select bank and fill account number, name and IFSC and click on save. After this, the new information provided by you will appear in the updated KYC section of your approved bank details after the approval by the employer.
Easy to find account deposits
It has become easier for EPFO shareholders to trace the amount deposited in their PF account. According to the new facility of EPFO, now EPFO account holders will not need UAN number to know the balance of their PF account. Shareholders now users can also know the balance of PF only by submitting their details.
