Former captain, furious at England's batsmen, told where is the mistake

IND Vs ENG: England’s condition has deteriorated against India in the fourth Test being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. By the end of the second day’s play, India has managed to get an 89-run lead over England and still have three wickets to fall. Former captain Andrew Strauss has been infuriated by the disappointing performance of England’s batsmen in this series. Strauss says that England batsmen are not good at playing on Indian pitches.

England won the toss in the last Test and decided to bat first. But the entire England team was all out for 205 runs. India’s spin duo Akshar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin did not let their batsmen run again.

Strauss said, “The truth should not be hidden.” It is clear that England’s batting is not very good under these conditions. You can say anything about the pitch and the ball or any other thing but you have to find a way to score runs in the first innings and they could not last long. ”

English batsmen are struggling without a turn

Strauss, a former left-handed opener, feels that the England batsman has lost the battle on his mind as he is making the same mistake he made in the first two Tests. Strauss says that England batsmen are getting out by making mistakes even on those balls which do not get the turn.

India are ahead 2–1 in the four-match series. India has strengthened its grip in this match too. India’s play in the final of the ICC Test Championship against New Zealand this year has also been almost completely decided.
