Five states may announce assembly elections by this date

Kolkata: Elections for the assembly elections in West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry can be announced in the next few days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Assam today that in the contested states, he will visit more and more before the announcement of elections. Elections will probably be announced in the first week of March.

PM Modi said, “I assure you that the development of Assam will accelerate further. Assam will reach new heights of development. I know you must be waiting for the election now.
