The Bhupani police station of Faridabad has arrested four accused in the murder case of a youth in a brawl at a birthday party. The arrested accused have been identified as Ashwani, Manish, Ashok, resident of Khedi Kalan and Mukesh alias Kale alias Komal, resident of Faridpur village. The police will present the accused in court and take them on remand. During the remand, the accused’s absconding associates will be questioned and searched.
According to the information received from the police, on the night of 8-9 October, Ashoka, one of the above accused, was having a birthday party at the under construction railway track Uttam Colony near Nacholi village. He told that Anish alias Anni and his friend Sandeep, resident of Nachauli village, were going from there on their motorcycle. Anish knew one of those accused, Mukesh alias Komal. Komal had stopped Aneesh to talk, meanwhile Mukesh asked Aneesh for her mobile phone. When Anish refused to give the mobile, there was a fight between Mukesh and Anish over the mobile phone.
Police officials said that when Aneesh and his partner Sandeep left from there, the accused together attacked Aneesh with sticks and iron rod. When Aneesh’s partner Sandeep made a noise, the accused fled from there threatening to kill him.
Sandeep called Anish’s house and informed him about the incident. The injured were then admitted to BK Hospital. From here he was referred to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi. On Sunday, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Police spokesperson ACP Adarshdeep Singh said that during remand, an attempt will be made to arrest the remaining accused by putting a clue.
