Bihar Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary on Thursday assured the members in the Legislative Council that no teacher would be forced to undergo a copy evaluation in the second shift. It is at their wish that both want to be evaluated in Pali or just one in Pali.
The minister said that there was a question on this issue on Wednesday. After that I talked to the chairman of the board. He told that this is not a new tradition. Last year too, matriculation copies were evaluated in two shifts to give quick results. So this year the same arrangement has been made. But if a teacher does not want to evaluate in the second shift, then no one will force them. This experiment is not binding. Those who want will be made to work in both shifts.
The evaluation of Bihar Board Matric Answerbooks will run from March 5 to 17.
At the same time, the evaluation of Bihar Board Intermediate Answer Book will start from 26th February i.e. tomorrow. This time 130 centers have been set up across the state for inter assessment. The evaluation will run until March 8.
