A Public Relations Department official said on Friday that the decision to impose lockdown in five more cities of the state on Sunday was taken here on Friday in a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan. The official said that the rate of corona virus infection in the state last week was 6.3 percent, which is higher than the national average of 4.6 percent.
The Chief Minister told in the meeting that the government has prepared a three-tier strategy to prevent corona infection. This includes screening the infected people, ensuring better treatment of the infected person and vaccinating the entire state as soon as possible.
