The first cutoff admissions at Delhi University have ended. The second cutoff is likely to come on 17 October. There will be second cutoff admissions from 19 October. In DU, Dean Admission Branch Prof. Shobha Bagai said that the entire team for admission in the first cutoff and the people associated with admission in colleges have also worked in the night. The first cutoff fees will be deposited by 16 October. On October 17, we expect that the second cutoff will come, whose admission will be from October 19 to October 21. By October 23, students will be able to pay the fees.

Demand for extension of admission date from DU, Aam Aadmi Party Teachers Association Delhi Teachers Association has demanded DU Vice Chancellor Professor Yogesh Kumar Tyagi that in view of the problems faced by students in taking online admission, the first cutoff admission date was extended by two days. Go Hansraj Suman, in-charge of Delhi Teachers Association, has written in a letter to the Vice Chancellor of Delhi University that on Monday 12 October, the first cutoff was issued for taking admission in undergraduate courses. On Monday, most of the students had filled the admission form in the college on the first day, but they have not been messaged to verify the fees by Wednesday, approving and submitting fees to the students. He says he is under stress due to his form not being approved. Students are getting calls from them that colleges are not informing them about acceptance or submission of forms.

Wednesday is the deadline for the first cutoff students to take admission. But if the form is approved, they have been given the October 16 date for depositing the fees. He says that when the date for depositing fees has been given to students on 16 October, then they should be given two days (16 October) so that students do not face any difficulty in getting admission.
