This cutoff has been very high this year due to the increase in the number of students getting more than 95 per cent and more than 90 per cent marks in DU from CBSE board in 12th standard.
This year, the CBSE 12th board examination has more than doubled the total number of applicants for graduation in DU. Not only this, CBSE students have scored more than 95 per cent more than half the total seats of graduation. Compared to the previous session, the number of people who got more than 90 percent marks is about 55 thousand more this year, while the number of people getting more than 95 percent marks is more than double than the previous year.
DU has about 70 thousand seats in graduation even after increasing the seats in this session, while the number of students scoring more than 90 percent in CBSE is 1,57,934 in this session and the number of students getting more than 95 percent is 38,686. is. In such a situation, DU is likely to fill most of the seats of major subjects in the next three cut-offs.
Dr. Sanjay Kumar, associated with admission in Zakir Hussain Evening College, says that many colleges have taken the cutoff on the basis of last year and the result of 12th. But they have not increased their cutoff very much. While the exam result in 12th has come better than last time and the number of students who have secured 95 per cent marks has also increased.

DU says that students will not have trouble regarding admission, for the
