Delhi Pollution: ‘Delhi Is Like A Gas Chamber’, Kejri Pushed The Ball In The Prime Minister’s Court When The Union Minister Raised Allegations Of Corruption: Delhi Air Quality: Union Environment Minister Bhupinder Yadav expressed concern over Delhi’s air pollution in a tweet. He blamed the ruling Aam Aadmi Party for this pollution. He alleged that Delhi has been turned into a gas chamber overnight.

Tarja started with the pollution of Delhi.

Be it sunrise in the morning or sunset in the afternoon, the sight of the sun in the white smoke layer is melodious. Even though Diwali is over, there is no sign of reducing pollution in the capital Delhi. Rather, the level of pollution is increasing day by day. Areas adjacent to Delhi are also covered in smog. Union Environment Minister Bhupinder Yadav has opened up about this terrible environment in Delhi. He called Delhi as a gas chamber. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not a person to remain silent in this regard. Responding to the Union Minister’s tweet, Kejriwal said, “At the beginning of winter, air pollution problem is seen all over North India. Why isn’t the Prime Minister holding a meeting on this matter?”

Union Environment Minister Bhupinder Yadav on Wednesday expressed concern over Delhi’s air pollution in a tweet. He blamed the ruling Aam Aadmi Party for this pollution. He alleged that Delhi has been turned into a gas chamber overnight. He alleged that this is also corruption. In a tweet, the Union Minister wrote, “According to today’s statistics, the rate of stubble burning has increased by 19 percent this year compared to 2021 in an AAP-ruled state. There, in Haryana, the rate of crop residue burning has decreased by 30.6 percent. Today alone 3634 fields were set on fire in Punjab. There is no doubt that Delhi has become a gas chamber.”

He further added, “Where there is up, there is corruption. In the last five years, the central government has given Rs 1,347 crore to Punjab for purchasing crop residue management machines. Only 1 lakh 20 thousand machines were purchased in the state, out of which 11 thousand 275 machines disappeared. Financial regulations are clearly understood by seeing the money spent. Last year, Tk 212 crore was unutilized. This year, the central government again provided 280 crore rupees for the purchase of machines. So the state government is sitting quietly despite having about Tk 492 crore, as a result of which the helpless farmers are forced to burn the remaining stubble.”

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal responded immediately after the complaints and questions of the Union Minister. He said, “Pollution is the problem of entire North India. Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh, all states have almost the same air quality. Only Delhi-Punjab has spread pollution throughout the country. Why is the Prime Minister not calling a meeting with all the states on this issue?”

Kejriwal also said, “The Center is not helping the farmers, only filing FIRs against them. Our proposal to regulate stubble burning has been rejected. There is only politics going on here, no one is talking about solutions.”
