Delhi Municipal Election Results: AAP Has Won 132 Seats In MCD Polls, Arvind Kejriwal Says I Love You Too Delhi: BJP has been in power for the last 15 years in Delhi Municipal Corporation elections. For the first time, AAP has won an unassailable lead over BJP. Delhi CM Kejriwal reviewed the MCD election results with the party leaders.
Aam Aadmi Party has broken the stronghold of the BJP. AAP led by Kejriwal won the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections. Out of 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, AAP candidates won an undisputed majority in 134 seats. BJP gave tough competition to AAP and won 104 seats. But AAP gave a shock to the BJP which has been in power in MCD for the last 15 years. Congress candidates won in 9 places. Independent candidates won in three seats. After the Delhi assembly elections, the party leaders are happy with the victory in the municipal elections as well.

With AAP’s great victory, there are celebrations in front of the Aam Aadmi Party office in Delhi. CM Kejriwal, Deputy CM Sisodia and Punjab CM Bhagwantman reached the party office and participated in the celebrations along with the workers. A large number of workers also reached the AAP office and expressed their happiness over the party’s victory.

He said that now he wants the cooperation of the BJP and Congress to work for Delhi. Kejriwal said that besides appealing to the Center to improve Delhi, he is seeking the Prime Minister’s blessings.

The people defeated the largest party. Manish Sisodia said that honest Arvind Kejriwal has ensured victory.. This is not only a victory but a big responsibility.

AAP MP Raghav Chadha said that all the weapons used by the BJP have failed. He said that the people of Delhi have responded to the CBI and ED attacks on AAP leaders. He said that the people of Delhi have thrown the videos released by the BJP against Satyendra Jain in the trash.

Elections to 250 wards in the national capital were held on December 4. A total of 1,349 candidates contested this election. This is the first election since the merger of the three civic bodies into the Delhi Corporation earlier this year. In 2017, BJP won 181 out of 270 municipal wards. But then AAP won only 48 seats..Congress stood third with 30 seats.
