Sangeeta, the daughter of an auto driver, was relieved when she could easily join an online class using a tablet. Actually, Sangeeta, who is pursuing B.Com course in Chennai, used to use her cousin’s device for online classes, but today she is using her own device which she has received as a gift. Sangeeta is helped by Class 12 student Gunisha Agarwal, who is distributing used smartphones and laptops to the needy students.
Sangeeta says, “The tablet is very useful. The free laptop given by the government crashed last year. I want to be a banker. In such a situation the tablet will help me a lot. Let me tell you, because of Gunisha, a restaurant waiter in Chennai The daughter studying in class 10 is relieved.
Know who is Gunisha?
Gunisha is the daughter of Chennai Police Commissioner Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal. Once Gunisha saw, her mother gave a used laptop to the daughter of a houseworker so that she could join the online class. She was greatly inspired by her mother’s work. After this, he created a website www.helpchennai.org to help the needy students with laptop or smartphone.
So far, Gunisha has given devices to four students and has collected 25 devices including 20 used laptops. About 15 students have so far applied for the devices that she will give them this week.

Gunisha said, due to the epidemic, many people have lost their jobs. In such a situation, it becomes our moral responsibility to deliver the device to the needy. She is studying Economics and Law. Today, Gunish’s efforts are opening up new avenues to help more students.
Mark Metro Advertising Director R Anandakrishnan is contributing 100 tablets to Gunisha and also donating around Rs 12 lakh through his Rotary Club of Chennai Towers.
In addition to helping in the online class, Gunisha has helped many needy in delivering food packets during Kovid-19 lockdown, now she wants to work closely with any NGO. So that it can help the students who need digital devices.
