Preparations for Durga Puja are going on in West Bengal amid Corona crisis. Meanwhile, due to the crowd, the risk of increasing Kovid-19 is also increasing. Expressing his concern over the outbreak of Corona virus, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that I would request all citizens to wear masks when they get out of the house, because it is spreading.

He said that if a corona infected person is identified in a family, then the danger increases further. Corona infection has now spread at the community level, so if one of them is getting infected, then eight other people are also getting corona infected. Especially his family members are getting infected.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that some such cases have come to light, which shows that the corona is now spreading through the air. I can’t stop people from going out. I know that it is time for Durga Puja. So people will get out. But you will most request not to go out for shopping. Whenever you go to the pandal for worship, wear a mask.

At the same time, this facility has been made free in government hospitals of the state to promote corona testing. That is, no charge will be taken to get corona test done in government hospitals. While the price of corona test in private hospitals is proposed to be reduced from Rs 2250 to Rs 1500. Apart from this, the ambulance fee will also be reduced.

CM Mamata Banerjee will inaugurate Durga Puja this time, like every year, but this time it will be virtual from October 15. In total, on 15, 16 and 17 October, a three-day puja pandal is inaugurated. The Chief Minister said that I request the Durga Puja committees not to allow anyone in the pandals without a mask. They should be kept in a separate zone. If the worship committees can give masks, then it is better, but we cannot expect this if everyone does the same.

He has said that in Bengal this time too, the festival of Durga Puja will be celebrated with pomp. Some states of the country like Delhi and UP have not allowed to celebrate Durga Puja this time, but we are allowing people to visit Maa Durga with certain conditions. Social distancing along with wearing of masks will be mandatory under these conditions.
