The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that new global cases of corona virus (COVID-19) have started declining. The WHO said in a statement that last week, 2.27 million new cases of corona infection have been reported worldwide, which is 16 percent less than the previous week.
Similarly, the number of people who have died from this disease has also come down and its figure is 81 thousand, which is 10% less than the previous week. Five out of six areas of WHO recorded double-digit decline in new cases and only the eastern Mediterranean region grew by seven percent.
New cases in Europe and America are becoming increasingly scarce. On the other hand, the number of daily deaths has declined in all regions.
