Popular and young lyricist Shyam Dehati of Bhojpuri, who became Corona positive last week, succumbed today at BRD Medical Hospital in Gorakhpur. Vikas Singh, a writer of Bhojpuri films and a friend of Shyam Dehati confirmed his death from ABP News.
Sharing the information, Vikas Singh said, “Shyam lived in Batiya district of Uttar Pradesh. He was undergoing treatment in a hospital there due to Corona infection last week. But when the intervening night of Sunday and Monday When his health deteriorated, he was admitted to the BRD Medical Hospital in Gorakhpur today, where he succumbed within an hour of his admission. “
Vikas Singh told ABP News that Bhojpuri films popular actor Khesarilal Yadav himself spoke to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s PA to arrange a bed in a hospital for Shyam Hick. Only after this, Shyam Hick was brought from BRT to Gorakhpur’s BRD Medical Hospital via ambulance.

Apart from being a lyricist and a musician, Shyam Dehati also made his debut as a hero in a Bhojpuri film called ‘Rani Dilbar Jani’ three years ago, but his coinage did not work as an actor in films. Shyam Hick also started last year’s snacks business.
