Russia has registered EpiVacCorona, the second vaccine of the corona virus. President Vladimir Putin announced this in a government meeting on Wednesday. President Putin said that we need to increase the production of first and second vaccines. We are continuing to cooperate with our foreign partners and will promote our vaccines abroad.

Russia named the first vaccine Sputnik-V. The second vaccine is named EpiVacCorona. Russia has manufactured the EpiVacCorona vaccine at Siberia’s World Class Virology Institute (Vector State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology).

Vector State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology worked on 13 potential vaccines for the corona virus. These vaccines were tested on animals in the lab.

Russia claimed that the side effects in its first vaccine were not in the second vaccine. This vaccine is made in a highly intelligence manner. Russia registered the world’s first Kovid-19 vaccine on August 11.

It was in a lot of controversy as it was launched even before the third phase of the trial was completed. On the other hand, Russia may launch EpiVacCorona in November.
