Will there be a lockdown in Delhi again? Satyendra Jain said – Corona is growing …
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said at a press conference on Saturday that the increase in new cases of Kovid-19 in Delhi is continuing every day. Meanwhile, when asked if a lockdown could be imposed again in Delhi, he said that the lockdown was not a solution to deal with the growing Corona virus infection.
Satyendra Jain said that there is no possibility of lockdown here. The lockdown has already taken place and there was a logic behind it then. At that time, no one knew how the virus spread, then it was said that there is a 14-day cycle of infection and its elimination. At that time, experts said that if all activity is stopped for 21 days, the virus will stop spreading. Even after that the lockdown continued to expand, but despite this the corona virus did not stop spreading. I think lockdown is not a solution.
He said that earlier there were fewer cases, but now it has increased. So we have increased the test every day from 85,000 to 90,000, which is more than 5 percent of the national average. We are also focusing on contact tracing and isolation. He further stated that there are enough beds in hospitals for Corona patients. So far, about 20 percent are full and 80 percent of the beds are empty. We are watching the situation. If the number of patients admitted to hospitals increases, we will increase the number of beds.
