Charan Singh University has made the rules uniform by eliminating discrimination in completion of degrees with students in the annual system. After the stipulated period, the students will be able to complete their degree by paying an additional fee of ten thousand rupees in a time-bound condition. Five thousand rupees will have to be paid after being suspended for a year.
In the semester system, the university was providing two years of eligibility to students to complete the degree at a fee of ten thousand rupees, whereas in the annual system it was limited to only one year. Thousands of students for two years were stranded under this rule.
