The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday made it clear that there is no further reduction in the syllabus of the social science paper of the upcoming 10th board exam. CBSE rejected all rumors regarding the removal of several chapters from the social science subject and said that no decision has been taken in this regard. CBSE 10th class social science paper will be held on 27 May 2021. A few months ago, the board reduced the syllabus from class 9th to 12th by 30% for the academic year 2020-2021. But after this no further cuts have been made.

The CBSE 10th 12th examinations will start from May 4. The class 10 examination will end on June 7, while the class 12 examination will end on June 10. The morning shift exam will run from 10.30 am to 01.30 pm and the afternoon shift exam will run from 2.5 pm to 5:30 pm. School staff engaged in morning shift will not be employed in afternoon shift. Experimental exams usually take place in January and written exams begin in February and end in March. But this time the examination has been delayed in view of the Kovid-19 epidemic.

CBSE has said that the candidates will be given an answer sheet 15 minutes before the scheduled start of the paper.
