Ayan Mukerji is crazy about the film
He said, “There is a huge difference between the kind of cinema Karan Johar makes and the kind of cinema I make, but I admire his passion for cinema. Five years ago, he told me about Brahmastra with a crazy boy named Ayan Mukerji. I agreed because of the respect I had for him. I didn’t know anything about the film. When Ayan started telling me about these weapons, all my childhood fantasies came alive. He has put a lot of energy into making this Astraverse. Everyone is emotionally charged about the use of weapons. This kind of film needs to be supported. It is about the superpowers present in our culture, and folklore. Everything about Brahmastra is in Indian tradition. I am trying my best to represent the film in the markets of the south.”
