The film unit recently revealed that this stylish action movie is being re-released in 4K version on 23rd of this month. Music director Mani Sharma, producer Narendra, Krishnamraj’s daughter Praseedha, lyricist Ramajogaiah Shastri, actors Ali, Subbaraju and others participated in the program organized on this occasion.
Director Mehr Ramesh said on this occasion, “When I wanted to make a film with Prabhas, I told an original story. The budget will be less. Also let’s do this Billa story. The cost is high, but I said let’s make a stylish action film on the Indian screen. Why is Prabhas’s low-budget story billable? Let’s fix it, darling. So we started under the banner of Billa Gopikrishna Movies. Krishnamraju has supported more than we expected for this movie. If you ask for two helicopters, we will bring four. Also we bought cars for some action scenes. We smashed cars. It was Prabhas’s idea to cast Krishnamraju in this film. Pedananna said that it is the fan’s desire to act together with me, darling. So we did a character with him. Actually, we wanted to present this 4K show with him as the chief guest. But unfortunately Krishnamraju passed away from us. We shot and released this film in just four and a half months. Best first day collections in Prabhas’ career. Mani Sharma’s music has become another attraction of this movie. Comedian Ali said, “I feel lucky that I got the chance to act in this Billa movie. During the shooting of this film, I got a chance to spend more time with Krishnamraju. I used to laugh a lot at his jokes. Biryani was brought late at night. Don’t the heroes have that chance? Krishna Raju is a great man. He said that even if he is not among us, his blessings will be there.
Music director Mani Sharma said, “You all know the success of this film’s music. After Billa Hundred Days, I went to do a film with hero Vijay in Tamil. After listening to the story, if we ask when the music sittings will take place, he said, give us all your Billa songs and we will include them in this film. Such is the craze of Billa’s songs.
