The schedule of written examination has been released by Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBS) for the recruitment of 8,415 posts of constable in Bihar Police / Military Police / Specialized India Reserve Corps / Bihar State Industrial Security Corps. The written test will be held on 14 and 21 March 2021 in two shifts. The exam for the first shift will be from 10 am to 12 noon and the exam for the second shift will be from two to four in the afternoon.
As per the notice issued on CSBS official website csbc.bih.nic.in, the admit cards of the candidates for the written examination will be available on the official website from 25 February. Candidates who for some reason will not be able to download the admit card from the website, they will be able to get a duplicate admit card from the office of the Central Selection Board at Back Harding Road, Patna on 10 March and 11 March at their own expense. To appear in the examination, the candidates will also have to bring a valid identity card containing a photo along with their e-admit card. It is to be noted that the process of application for 8,415 posts of constable in Bihar Police was started on November 13, 2020 on the official website. The last date to apply was December 14, 2020. Selection of candidates for the post of constable is to be done on the basis of written examination and physical efficiency test (PET). Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained by the candidates in all the three competitions under the Physical Efficiency Test.
