Bihar board matriculation examination ended on Wednesday. Elective subject examination was taken on the last day. In the examination taken in two shifts, 20 thousand 262 candidates had filled the form. In the elective subjects, higher mathematics, economics, commerce, Sanskrit, Maithili, Persian and Arabic subjects were tested. In two shifts of the elective subject, the expulsion was zero. According to the board, the matriculation assessment will run from March 5 to 17. Before this, the canceled examination of the first shift of social science will be taken on March 8. More than eight lakh 46 thousand candidates will be included in the examination.
It may be noted that the social science question paper taken in the first shift on February 19 was canceled after it was leaked. Now this examination will be taken across the state on March 8. For this, the board has issued guidelines for all centers.
According to the records this year there has been a decrease of 44 per cent in cases of duplication compared to the previous year. The number of expulsions has decreased compared to 2020. While in 2020 373 candidates were expelled in 32 districts, in 2021 208 were expelled in 25 districts.
Anand Kishore said, ‘The board is committed to conduct a malpractice-free examination. In the paper leak case, the FIR was pained on the same day. Strict action is being taken.
