The new foldable laptop will go on sale from November 10. Asus will be available for purchase from India’s official website, various e-commerce platforms and retail stores in the country.
The Zenbook 17 Fold features a 17.3-inch foldable OLED display, which will support a 60Hz refresh rate. The laptop will be powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. This processor is paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. The laptop has a glossy MgAl alloy body, which can give a glass-back look. The laptop has a leather kickstand, which attaches to the device. The laptop will only be available in Tech Black color.
Weighing in at 1.5kg, the new ZenBook 17 Fold laptop will offer a dynamic display of a 17.3″ foldable OLED panel, which can be folded from the middle into a compact form factor and will measure 12.5 inches before folding. The company claims that the new laptop’s display will offer a maximum brightness of 500 nits with a response time of 0.2 ms.
The Zenbook 17 Fold packs Dolby Vision for a richer and more realistic viewing experience, 1.07 billion colors verified by Pantone, a blue light filter, and will offer an 87% screen-to-bezel ratio. This new ZenBook 17 Fold is considered to be a foldable laptop, featuring Iris Xe graphics and loaded with Windows 11 Pro.
The new laptop will feature WiFi 6E with dual-band and the latest Bluetooth 5v, making this device a great option for cloud gaming and console gaming enthusiasts. 75 hours battery and 65W ac fast charger support. Battery life and running time will vary according to usage. But the battery can last up to about 10 hours with average usage. Similarly, the BT keyboard can last for 15 hours with typical usage.
In terms of connectivity, the laptop has a USB Type-C cable and Bluetooth soft key keyboard. It is packed with a leather folder case, which is bundled with the box. The device is also equipped with quad speakers for superb sound quality which can be tuned by Harmon/Kardon. The laptop supports 2x microphones, which will work with dual noise-cancellation features. The new laptop also has a 5-megapixel front camera with IR support for video conferencing.
