Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen together on the screen for the first time

Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh are going to start shooting again for their untitled romantic drama-comedy film. Shooting of the film was nearing completion, but due to the lockdown, the shooting had to be stopped midway. Shooting will start again from August 17 after about three months. Through this film, Arjun and Rakul Preet will be seen sharing the screen on the big screen for the first time.

Filmmaker Nikhil Advani confirmed the news, saying, “The directors of the film Kashvi, John Abraham, Bhushan ji and my team are working day and night to make the stars feel safe and comfortable. We will follow all the guidelines issued by the state government. It is a 10-day shoot with the entire cast. After this only a 4-day schedule will be left, which we will shoot in late September after the rain. We initially planned to release the film in March 21 to April. However, the plan could not be completed due to the lockdown.

Apart from Arjun, Rakul Preet, stars like Nina Gupta, Divya Seth and Kanwaljeet Singh are also part of this schedule. Many other stars, including Kanwaljeet, have voiced against the state government’s guideline, in which stars above the age of 65 are prohibited from shooting.

T-series owner Bhushan Kumar said, ‘It is heartening to see that all crew members and stars are returning to work. All security arrangements will be taken care of on the set. Hopefully everything will go according to plan.
