The first match of the season will be held in Chennai from 9 April 2021. There will be a competition between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore here. The IPL playoffs and finals will be played here on May 30, 2021 at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, the world’s largest cricket stadium.
In the league stage, each team will play on four grounds. Out of 56 league matches, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and Bengaluru will have 10 matches each, while 8 matches will be played in Ahmedabad.
