US President Joe Biden has said that former President Donald Trump should not be given confidential intelligence because of his ‘unstable behavior’. There is a history of giving such information as a courtesy to the President who completed his term in America.
“I don’t want to speculate,” Biden said in an interview to CBS News. I just feel that there is no need to give them intelligence. What is the importance of giving intelligence to them? What effect can he make? Instead, the fact is that at any time his tongue can slip and he can say anything.
This interview is to be telecast on Sunday. Parts of it aired on Friday. Biden said that Trump should not be given such information because of his unstable behavior.
Earlier this week, White House press secretary Jane Saki said Trump was undergoing a review of intelligence. Some Democratic Party MPs and even officials of the then Trump administration raised questions about keeping them informed.
