On the occasion of Republic Day in the national capital, two days after several policemen were injured and one farmer died in heavy violence during a tractor rally, social activist Anna Hazare announced on Thursday that he would agitate. Anna said that from January 30, he will start demonstrations in Ralegan Siddhi, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, with many demands of farmers.
While issuing the statement, Anna has appealed to his supporters that they should take part in this demonstration from where they are. Last month, he said that if the central government does not accept the demands related to farmers, then they will start a hunger strike. 83-year-old social worker Anna Hazare had further said that this would be his last movement.

Talking to media in Ralegan Siddhi village of Maharashtra, Anna Hazare said that he has been demonstrating for the farmers for the last three years but the government has done nothing to resolve the matter. Last month, Anna Hazar had written a letter to Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar warning that if his demands were not met, he would go on hunger strike.
It is worth mentioning that recently, senior BJP leader and former Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Heerabhau Bagde met Hazare and gave him detailed details about three new agricultural laws brought by the Central Government.
