Many stars have left their mark in Indian cinema, more than 100 years old. If someone’s name is taken as a hero, then someone’s villain or comedian. But there have been very few actors who played every character from villain to comedian. Kader Khan was one such star. No one can erase the impression that Kader Khan has made in writing, from dialogue to acting.
On one hand, Kader Khan had created a ferocious image as a villain, on the other hand, his comedy was so wonderful that it made one laugh. However, apart from onscreen, Kader Khan also showed his skills in several films as a dialogue writer. Kader Khan, who made his Bollywood debut as an actor with the film Daag in 1973, has won audiences with his performance in many films.
Kader Khan worked with many stars. One of these stars was Amitabh Bachchan. Kader Khan considered Amitabh Bachchan as his best friend, but something had happened between the two which soured their relationship. Kader Khan himself talked about this in an interview. In the video, Kader Khan had said, ‘I used to call Amitabh Bachchan as Amit. Then a producer came to me and said that you got Sirji? I said who sir? You don’t know what he said on this?
Kader Khan had further told, ‘He pointed to Amitabh and said that he is our sir. I said that he is Amit. Everyone started speaking to Sir, Sir Ji, Sir Ji from then on, but Amitji or Sir Ji never came out of my mouth for him. Because of not being able to speak, I left his group.
Kader Khan further said, ‘Can someone call his friend or brother by any other name? It is impossible I could not do this and that is why I did not feel that love with them. That is why I did not live in his film ‘Khuda Witness’. Then I wrote his film ‘Ganga Jamuna ..’ and left. After this there were some other films, which I started working on, but they also gave up. ‘ In the video, Kader Khan also mentions the incident with Amitabh Bachchan during the film Coolie.
