Elections are going to be held in five states in the country including West Bengal and Assam. The first phase of voting will take place on March 27 in Bengal and Assam. While the BJP is in the electoral fray with the face of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the responsibility of planning the strategy rests on the shoulders of Home Minister Amit Shah and National President JP Nadda. Just before the election today, Amit Shah has fiercely targeted the opposition in an interview with news agency PTI, and has also claimed victory.
Home Minister Amit Shah took an aggressive stance on the Congress, saying that the Congress’s alliance with the Badruddin Ajmal-led AIUDF would be one of the reasons for the BJP’s victory in Assam. He said what kind of secular party Congress is, in Kerala it has aligned with IUML, with AIUDF in Assam, with Abbas Siddiqui’s party in Bengal. He also said that Congress cannot stop infiltration by joining hands with Badruddin Ajmal.
Amit Shah has claimed the victory of BJP candidates in more than 200 of the 294 seats in West Bengal. It is also said that the number of seats in Assam will also increase.
