Air Force Common Admission Test: Indian Air Force invites applications for Common Admission Test (Air Force Common Test 01/ 2023) and NCC Special Entry in Flying, Technical and Ground Duty branches.
There are different courses for men and women. There are 258 vacancies. The exam will be held on February 24, 25, and 26. The last date for receipt of the application is 30th December.
Applications are invited from men for Short Service Course in Flying Branch, Permanent Commission and Short Service Course in Technical Branch and Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission in Ground Duty Branch.
Applications are invited from women for the short service course in the flying branch, short service course in the technical branch, and short service course in the ground duty branch of the Air Force. Applicants below 25 years should be unmarried.
Technical Branch
Qualification- Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics). Four year degree with minimum 60% marks. OR Pass in Sections A and B of the Associate Membership Examination conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India)/ Examination conducted by the Aeronautical Society of India.
Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical)-Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics). Four-year degree with minimum 60% marks. OR Pass in Sections A and B of the Associate Membership Examination conducted by the Institution of Engineers (India)/ Examination conducted by the Aeronautical Society of India. OR Graduate Membership Examination conducted by the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers.
Physical Qualification- Male: Height minimum 157.5 cm. Female minimum 152 cm. Weight is proportional.
Age- 20 -26 years as on 1st January 2023.
Flying Branch
Eligibility- Graduation in any discipline with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.Physics and Mathematics at Plus level.Or four years BE/ B.Tech degree with 60% marks in aggregate.
Physical Qualification (Female/Male)-Height 162.5 cm. Weight- Proportion. Must have good eyesight. Those who have previously failed the Pilot Aptitude Test and have been dismissed from the Air Force Academy are not required to apply. Visit the website for detailed notifications.
Age: 20 -24. Age is calculated based on January 1, 2023. The upper age for commercial pilot license holders is 26 years.
Ground Duty Branch
Eligibility- Administration, and Logistics: Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks. OR PG Degree/ Equivalent Diploma with 50% marks.
Accounts- B.Com degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. OR M.Com/ ICWA/ CA with minimum 50% marks.
Physical Qualification (Male)- Height: Minimum 157.5 cm. Weight is proportional.
Physical Qualification- Female: Height 152 cm. Weight is proportional.
Age- Between 20 to 26 years as on 1st January 2023.
