Adani Gas has cut prices of CNG and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) in various fields. This is in line with the recent government cut in natural gas prices. The company said in a statement that it has cut gas prices in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Gujarat. Explain that the government has reduced the price of natural gas by 25 per cent to $ 1.79 per million British thermal units (MBTUs) for the next half-year starting from October 1. Natural gas is used in CNG-PNG.

According to the statement, the price of CNG has been cut by Rs 1.75 per kg in Khurja in Uttar Pradesh. After this cut, the price has been reduced to Rs 52.60 per kg. While the price of PNG fell from Rs 26.83 standard cubic meter to Rs 25.72 standard cubic meter. Similarly, the price of CNG in Mahendragarh and Faridabad in Haryana has been reduced by Rs 1.70 and Rs 1.60 respectively. Apart from this, its price has been reduced by Rs 1.31 per kg in Ahmedabad and Vadodara in Gujarat. The company has cut domestic PNG prices in Faridabad, Palwal and Khurja by Rs 1.11 per standard cubic meter and in Ahmedabad and Vadodara by Re 1 per cubic meter.

On the nomination basis of the public sector oil and gas producer ONGC and Oil India, the price of natural gas coming out of the fields given to them will be $ 1.79 per MBTU for the next six months from October 1. It has been stated in a government order. The order said that along with this, the price of gas coming out of difficult deep sea areas has also been reduced from $ 5.61 to $ 4.06 per MMBtu.
