Bihar Police jawans are leading the Bengal elections. Twelve police companies have gone to the polls in West Bengal. Commandant rank officers are leading this force. Apart from the police, two companies of paramilitary forces deployed in Bihar have also been sent to Bengal.
The Election Commission has largely deputed paramilitary forces and armed police forces of the states to conduct elections in Bengal in a peaceful and impartial manner sent to the company of Bihar Special Armed Police. 12 companies of Bihar Special Armed Police have also been sent to Bengal for this. These companies belonging to various battalions will be kept deputed there till several stages of voting. According to police headquarters officials, the Election Commission had demanded 20 companies from Bihar to send to Bengal, but only 12 companies were available in view of the deployment of large number of forces in Holi and law and order.

Two companies of paramilitary forces deputed in Bihar have also been sent to Bengal in view of the elections. One of these companies is said to be of Raff. Some companies of paramilitary force from Bihar had gone to Jammu and Kashmir in the past. Four of them have also gone to West Bengal.
188 companies from Bihar came from other states, during the assembly elections in a state, apart from paramilitary forces, the Armed Police Force of other states is also sent. In the Bihar assembly elections of 2020, 188 companies of police forces of 14 states came.
